Situated at the crest of an E-facing slope. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 60m E-W; 58m N-S) that slopes down to the SSE. It is defined by a scarp (H c. 1m), with a shallow fosse (at NW: Wth of top 5m; Wth of base 1.2m; int. D 0.7m; ext. D 0.8m) WNW-N. The original entrance is not identified but the interior is crossed by an E-W field bank that turns SE towards the E edge. P
