Located on a fairly low NE-SW ridge. The entrance to the chamber of this souterrain is at the lip of the outer fosse of rath (ME006-050002-) at E. The souterrain consists of a beehive chamber (diam. 1.5m; max. H 0.9m) with a short segment of passage (L 1.85m plus; Wth 0.75m) extending off to the S before becoming impassable because of spoil. The chamber is inaccessible. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Revised by: Michael Moore Date of revision: 26 October 2018
