Situated on a rise in an undulating landscape. This is an overgrown circular area (diam. c. 23m E-W; 21.2m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth of base 4.5-6m; int. H 0.5-0.6m; ext. H 1.4m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 6-7m; Wth of base 1.5-2m; ext. D 0.5-0.7m) from an overgrown outer bank (Wth of base 5.7-6.5m; ext. H 0.7-1m). The original entrance is not identified.
