The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Marked as a ringfort on MS map 21 F 30 (3) in NLI, made in 1864. Aerial photograph (CUCAP, BGM 53) shows D-shaped enclosure attached to N side of church site (ME008-035----) defined by earthen bank (dim. E-W c. 120m). Originally it may have enclosed the churchyard as well. Now destroyed.
