Located at the S tip of a small N-S spur with the ridge of Mullaghmeen in Co. Westmeath rising over it to the SW. This is a large grass-covered area (diam. 94m NNW-SSE; 87m ENE-WSW) that slopes down to the S. It is defined by a slight bank (at SSW: Wth c. 3-4m; int. h 0.5m; ext. H c. 1.5m) W-N-S, and by a scarp and traces of a fosse S-W. An original entrance is not identified.
