Situated on a broad plateau at the N foothills of Slieve na Calliagh ridge. It is not depicted on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 29m E-W; 27m N-S) with four large upright stones (dims 1.5-2m; x 0.4-0.9m; H c. 2m) on the perimeter and several smaller ones. There is an additional recumbent stone (dims 2.2m x 0.2-0.5m; H 0.3m) at NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
