The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Loughcrew cemetery, site Y. On the summit of Patrickstown hill are remains of a denuded cairn, c. 30m in diam. No orthostatic structure or kerb is visible and the monument is under forest. Listed as a possible passage-tomb. (Herity 1974,243). (Conwell 1873, 69)
