Located at the crest of the S-facing slope of a low W-E spur. The SW face of this upright stone (dims c. 0.66m NNW-SSE; 0.34-0.5m E-W; max H 1.03m) is ornamented with picked concentric circles and arc designs that is somewhat anthropomorphic in appearance and in the tradition of passage-tomb art. (Eogan and O'Broin 1998) See the attached drawing from Eogan and O'Broin (1998, fig. 1) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
