Located just off the top of a rise in a gently undulating, low-lying landscape. It is not depicted on any map but is visible on an oblique aerial photograph (CUCAP: AHN 60). This is a flat-topped grass-covered mound (diam. of top 6-6.4m; diam. of base 10.5m E-W; 9.5m; H 0.2m at E to 0.7-1m generally).Archaeological testing (04E0207) just to the S, on the other side of the road produced no related material (Powell 2004).
