Located on the lower NW-facing slope of the Hill of Lloyd, with a small N-S stream c. 50m to the W. This was described in 1969 (SMR file) an oval grass-covered mound (dims of base 17m NE-SW; 13m NW-SE; max. H 1.1m at NW) that melded into the slope NE-SE. It has eroded away and is not now visible in a tillage field and its precise location is not known. Mound (ME016-013----) is c. 100m to the NNE.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
