Situated on a low hillock. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 60m WNW-ESE; 55.5m NNE-SSW) defined by a slight earthen bank NNE-SE but largely by a low scarp (at W: Wth c. 3m; H c. 1.5m), with traces of a fosse SW-W. The original entrance is not identified. The visible profile may have been eroded away by 2000 (OSAP).
