Situated some 500m SE of passage tomb mound (ME019-045----) at Newgrange. Mound c. 25m in diam., nearly 6m high, listed as possible passage-tomb (Herity 1974, 247). Surrounded by but not centrally placed within bank (ME019-049002-) (O'Kelly 1978, 49-50). See attached Google Earth aerial photograph taken 12 November 2005.
