The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 In the landscaped garden of Dowth House this mound, c. 20m in diam., contains a corbel-roofed, multi-celled chamber; probably a passage-tomb. A spiral has been noted on one of the stones. (O'Kelly 1978, 54-5)
