Situated on a rise in a fairly level landscape. This is a raised and slightly dished, grass-covered, circular area (diam. 35.5m E-W; 33m N-S) defined by slight traces of an earthen bank planted with deciduous trees, a wide outer fosse, and a slight outer bank SE-W-NW. The entrance (Wth of base 3m) and traces of causeway (Wth of top 3m; H 0.3m) are at E.
