Known locally as the Cruise monument, the wayside cross consists of a damaged shaft (H 0.77m; Wth dims 0.34m x 0.26m) and rectangular base (dims 0.48m x 0.38m; H 0.38m), cut from a single stone. Decorated with eight figures framed by decoration it can be ascribed to King's Group 1 typology and dates to c.1470. It is inscribed THOMAS PLUNKET/MARIA CRUYS on the south side of the base.
