Located on top of a prominent hill. This is a circular flat-topped and grass-covered mound (diam. of top 16m; diam. of base 40-46m; H 7.5m) with some bushes defined by a fosse. There is a raised crescent-shaped and grass-covered bailey (dims of top c. 20m E-W; c. 9m N-S) attached at N, which is surrounded by a fosse and outer bank. The W side of the motte had been quarried.
