Situated on a slight S-facing slope, this enclosure is not depicted on any map although it can be seen on Google Earth (01/06/2020). It was recorded in 1969 (SMR file) as a low grass-covered platform (diam. of top 25m NE-SW; diam. of base 47m NE-SW; H 0.5m at NE to 1.1m at SW), which is surrounded by the slight rise of an earthen bank (at SW: Wth 7m; int. H 0.1m) that is most visible W-N.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
