The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 10 July 2007 Aerial photograph (GSAP, N 294) shows earthworks which have since been reclaimed. Six rectangular house sites can be seen in differential vegetation (dims. c. 6m by c. 4m). Also remains of rectangular enclosures (dims. c. 30m by 20m) covering 5 acres with sunken roadway (W c. 7m) running N, to W of settlement.
