Situated on a level landscape. An unmapped field system in pasture covering about 5 ha (c. 12 acres) is visible on vertical aerial photographs (GSIAP: O 58, 59) from the 1970s. A central area is divided into small rectangular plots (dims c. 40m x c. 10m to c. 30m x c. 25m) defined by silted drains (Wth 3-5m; D 0.2-0.5m). The E edge has E-W cultivation ridges covering c. 1 ha, but no house sites are present anywhere. The fields are also visible on OSI images 2000, 2005) and on Google Earth (24/06/2018, 01/06/2020, 16/03/2021) and on earlier series.
