Located on a slight N-facing slope on the SW bank of the S-N Dun Water stream. The cropmark of a rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 50m NE-SW, c. 35m NW-SE) with an entrance gap at SW is visible on the oblique aerial photograph (CUCAP, BDP 29) from the 1970s. It is probably a field.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
