Situated on a level landscape. This is a rectangular grass-covered area (dims c. 40m NE-SW; c. 40m NW-SE) defined by flat-bottomed moats that are quite silted at E and S (Wth of base c. 5-8m; int. D c. 1.2-1.5m; ext. D c. 0.3-0.9m) but more substantial (Wth of base c. 3-4m; int. D c. 2.5m; ext. D c. 2.5-3m) on the SW and NW sides. There is an outer bank (Wth of base c. 3m; ext. H c. 1.5m) only at SW.
