Situated on a level landscape. This is a subcircular grass and rush-covered area (dims 50m W-E; 44m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 7m; int. H 0.12-0.3m) with some bushes often reduced to an external scarp (H 1-1.1m), with an outer fosse (Wth of top 4.5-8m; ext. D 0.5-0.9m). The entrance (Wth 2.5m) is at ESE where there is slight dip in the perimeter and traces of a causeway across the fosse.
