Loughcrew, Cairn K. Excavated by Conwell, this kerbed cairn, 15m in diam., contains the remains of a ruined passage-tomb opening to E; only five chamber orthostats survive and a single stone marks the entrance passage. One decorated stone is now visible. (Herity 1974, 237; Shee 1981, 210-11) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
