Loughcrew cemetery, Cairn F. Excavated by Conwell, this kerbed cairn, 15m in diam., contains a small cruciform passage-tomb opening to the E. A single roof stone survives at the passage entrance. There are seven decorated orthostats. (Herity 1974, 243; Shee 1981, 207-8) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
