In Derrynich bog. A tertiary togher (ME0BLR 002/DHH 0019a) orientated NW-SE on the field surface. The site consists of over twenty pieces of light brushwood and four pieces of heavy brushwood. It is possible that this material is the remains of a hurdle panel of double sail construction. The light brushwood is very closely set and laid longitudinally. Running transverse to these are two pairs of heavier brushwood set 0.26m apart. Two longitudinally laid pieces of light roundwoods bound this material on each side. The wood is in poor condition and there is a single metal-cut toolmark present. Ten pieces were identified as Corylus. This site lies in well-humified Sphagnum peat with Eriophorum.
