Situated on a level landscape between a fulacht fia (ME038-036----) c. 50m to the W and two fulachta fia (ME038-035----; ME038-035001-) c. 40m to the E. Topsoil stripping (02E0194) in advance of a gas pipeline identified a small group of flints on the surface (BGE: 1A/16/4) that was completely excavated (02E1259). A cluster of 466 pieces of knapped flint and chert concentrating in a shallow depression (dims 1.8m N-S; 0.7m E-W; max. D 7cm) were excavated in four spits. The flint was of poor quality and only one finished object, a scraper, was recovered. (Byrne, E. and A. Little 2002; 2004; Byrne 2007)
