A natural spring known as 'Colmcille's well' that runs out of a rocky crevice in the south bank of the river Nanny. The bank at this point is revetted by a stone masonry wall. There is evidence for veneration with coins placed in the hollow and it is reputed to cure sore eyes (pers. comm. Colin Byrne)
