Located towards the bottom of the E-facing slope of Carrickbrack and at the S end of the col between Carrickbrack and Carnbane East. Aerial photograph (GB91.DD.29) shows a rectangular area surrounded by cultivation ridges or 'cultivation ridges'. It is on the E side of a N-S farm track and is a rectangular grass-covered platform (dims of top 13, NNW-SSE; 4.4m NW-SE) defined by scarps (H 0.1-0.2m) on every side except the W. This is a holding point for carts associated with the cultivation ridges that could be as late as the 1940s.
