Located on a level low-lying landscape. Aerial photograph (GB.AM.32) shows the cropmark of a large circular enclosure (diam. c. 70m) defined by a fosse with an entrance at E. The kink in the modern field boundary respects the southern side of the enclosure. This has been plough-levelled, and it does not appear on any other aerial images.
