A well is situated on a north-facing slope in a large field of pasture and overlooks the Boyne Valley to the west. The well incorporates a large stone with a number of solution holes at least one of which appears to be worked (pers comm. Cliadhbh O'Gibne). There are two small hollows (diam. 4cm; D 1cm) on the E face of a slab (L 1.3m; Wth 0.25m) set in a stone structure (dims 3m x 2.4m) that looks like a well. This appears to be modern.
